Buffalo Hunt Packages
Cost:
- Large Bull - $2000 - $3500 (depending on size)
- Cow - $900
- Yearling - $650
- Skinning Fee - $50

  • Picture of you and the buffalo
  • The entire buffalo: Head, skull, hide, and meat
  • Delivery of Mount to a taxidermist (mounting and tanning at hunter's expense)
  • 50% deposit required at time of booking
  • $20 for Delivery of Meat to a local processor (processing at hunter's expense)

  • No license is required
  • Rifle Pistol, Black Powder or Archery
  • If you do not want the hassle of checking your rifle on the airplane, you can use one of ours
  • The Rapid City Regional Airport is served by Northwest, United Express, and SkyWest (Delta Connection) Airlines with connections from Minneapolis, Denver, and Salt Lake City
  • Hunts are offered year round. However, for the best quality hide and hair you should schedule your hunt in the winter months from November through February. But don't worry about blizzards and Arctic-cold weather: Chinook winds frequently warm temperatures into the 50's and 60's throughout the winter. Bring warm, wind-resistant, water-repellent clothing, boots, and headgear and you'll be prepared for any conditions.
  • We can help you make additional arrangements if you want to bring a guest or spend an extra day or two to enjoy the attractions of the Black Hills: Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park, Wind Cave & Jewel Cave, Crazy Horse Monument, Spearfish Canyon, and Devil's Tower. Two downhill ski resorts and groomed snowmobile trails are popular outdoor recreation activities. Deadwood, a restored mining town, offers casino gambling.

    About The Sanders Ranch
    Five generations of Sanders have ranched in the Rapid City area. The family has been raising buffalo for over 25 years. Many of their breeding bulls are from Custer State Park, one of the finest bison herds in the United States.

    Your guide, Mark Sanders, is a skilled hunter and very experienced with buffalo. He will escort you on their ranch in the heart of buffalo territory.
