ivers Edge Outfitters is located 100 miles north of Billings, in one of the least populated and most rural counties in the United States. All of our hunts, bow and rifle, take place in the Missouri River Breaks region, famous for it's abundance of Mule and Whitetail Deer, Pronghorn Antelope and Elk. Most people have either read or heard about the trophy animals that come from the Breaks every year. Terrain is a mixture of rolling hills, timber dotted ridges and wandering creeks, with great stalking cover for bowhunters. This is some of the best hunting in Montana with high game counts and good 4x4 accessibility. We have leased thousands of acres of the best hunting in this area for our hunters to hunt. Our guides are seasoned bowhunters.

Our bowhunts for elk take place in Area 410, in the Missouri River Breaks. The quality and quantity of the elk in this area compare to any trophy elk area in North America. This is a limited-permit area for rifle hunters, which insures the quality and numbers of elk for our bowhunters. There are 400 class bulls taken out of this area every year. We use tree stands over water holes, bugling and cow calling, and spot and stalk techniques to try and get our hunters a close shot. All of these tactics have been quite successful.

Bowhunts for antelope are primarily done from blinds at water holes. These hunts are highly successful and enjoyable, and give our hunters a good look at the game they are about to harvest.

Bowhunts for mule deer are done with tree stands over water holes or near travel routes and also sometimes by spot and stalk when conditions are right.

Bowhunts for whitetail deer are done from tree stands overlooking travel routes between feeding and bedding areas. This is the most effective way to hunt whitetails in this area.

Our rifle hunts for deer and antelope are primarily done by spot and stalk. This insures a high success rate and is by far the most effective way to hunt in this area.

Deer and antelope combo hunts are probably one of the most exciting hunts we offer. You can hunt deer in the morning and evening, and during the heat of the day you can hunt antelope. These are highly successful hunts with lots of action.

We offer rifle hunts for elk, if you are lucky enough to draw an area 410 (either sex) rifle tag. We guarantee a shot at a 6x6 or better bull on a rifle hunt in this area.

Predator hunts are for those who like to practice their marksmanship. These hunts are great because when the other seasons are closed you can be in the great outdoors doing what you love.

Prairie Dog hunts are also available. These hunts are great for those who like to practice their long distance shooting and fine tuning of their rifle. The great thing about this hunt is that you can sleep in and not miss a thing. Guaranteed licenses for elk and deer are also available. Normally, the weather is fairly warm during archery season, but we suggest that you bring a variety of gear for both warm and cold weather. The terrain is mostly rolling hills with scattered timber. The elevation is approximately 3500 ft.

We will pick you up at the Billings Airport and take you back after the hunt, or you may rent a car if you wish. We care for your trophies and meat as if they were our own.

We only take a limited number of hunters each season, so reservations far in advance are a good idea. A 1/3 deposit of the hunt cost books your hunt.
