Comments:
This is the best 1911-style pistol I have ever owned. I have fired over 5000 rounds through it and have had only 2 jams. Both of these were magazine related, but have not repeated since I switched to McCormick Combat Magazines. I have tried a variety of ammo and it will shoot any 230gr. ammo to the same point of aim at the 35yd. target I practice on. I had a shoot-out with a buddy that was using a Les Baer Thunder Ranch (about $1000.00 more expensive) and out-shot him handily. We then switched guns and he out-shot me!! No, I didn't sandbag. My gun is stainless steel with Novak sights, but it can be had in many different finishes and configurations. Again, over the years I've owned and shot Colts, Kimbers, Safari Arms and just about any other maker of 1911 out there. The Springfield outperforms them all!
