Fantastic value!! With a Burris 2 3/4 scout scope mounted, this gun will easily shoot M.O.A. with Federal Premium 165gr. SPBT. Handling is outstanding and at about 7lbs. scoped and loaded, it is easy to carry all day. In heavy brush it performs beautifully and comes to the shoulder automatically. The first head of game I took with it was a nice buck running with afterburners on at about 75 yards. My son had just shot another deer and this one flushed at the sound of the shot. The natural pointing ability of the rifle combined with the forward positioned low-power scope made the shot an easy one. With the exception of my faithful old 30-06 (an old friend that's accounted for over 250 head of game!), the Scout would be the last rifle in my inventory I would part with! Buy one and you'll never look back.
