This is Remington's special edition rifle for the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.I traded my Weatherby in .30-378 for it.To see this rifle, is to fall in love at first sight. For a synthetic rifle,Remington really put together an awesome package.I use it primarily for deer hunting, and the ultra puts deer down RIGHT NOW!I'm not recoil shy, but this gun is light and recoil is pretty stiff off the bench.I'd advise a high quality scope with good eye relief.Mine wears a Leupold vari-xlll in 4.5-14x X 40mm.Never have had a problem with scope eye from this setup. It's very close to the mighty .30-378 in performance at a more reasonable price.A rifle usually doesn't last long in my cabinet......but this is one that's here to stay!
