| This rifle is an excellent purchase with all the choices out there. The suggested retail price is about $850, but Remington makes some outstanding discounts from time to time. This rifle was one of them. I purchased this rifle for $700. Key elements which sparked my interest in this perticular rifle were the heavy barrel, fiber graphite stock, and the fact that it came already floated and bedded. I shoot the Remington Core-Lok ammo in 180 gr. Out of the box I shot a .5 three shot group at 100 yards. I highly recommend this rifle on bi-pods or steady sticks, but not so much for the stand shot.
