The Leopold Windriver 10 x 50 is a little heavy for blacktail spot and stalk hunting in Ca, but for the whitetail ground blinds of Canada it was perfect. This is a very clear and bright binocular, with good light gathering optics. on the downside, the center focus has a locking mode which I can find no practical use for and is often locked when its time to refocus for a different distance. I'd rather have a lock on the right eyepiece which never changes unless used by someone else.
