130 Class Whitetail

Hunter: Ed Doughney
Location Taken: Hunter Lake, Saskatchewan
Story:
I was on a five day hunt in Saskatchewan and this was the first buck I saw. He showed up at 9am on Monday and again at 2pm. I let walk away both times and was thinking I had made a big mistake. On Tuesday 11/14/00 he showed up at about noon and I was no longer able to resist. My guide, John Leite, assured me that is was best to wait it out until Thursday or Friday for a chance at a bigger buck. On Wednesday at about 11am I filmed a 150 class 5x5. Next time I'll listen better to John!
