White Tail

Story:
It was the last weekend for private property hunting,Jan 18 1998.
It was first light, the wind changed direction and a doe bolted fom behind some bushes 50 yrds. away and following her was this brute.I was not ready for that, they got away.
Two hrs. later i got down packed my climber on my back, and took to following their tracks. About 200 yards down i saw tracks going across the road and into a field.
I started a little push thru waist high grass and palmetto bushes. About 150yrds. in a doe jumps up 100 yrds. away, snorted,the buck jumped and ran in the opposite direction when I got my sights on him he was dropped at about 180 yards away. 1 shot to the middle of his neck!
