Most of our Kansas deer hunts are for trophy whitetails because the mule deer stamp is harder to draw and is a true lottery, however we guide hunters to some really big muleys when they get the tag. Kansas has a well deserved reputation for producing big bucks. Last year, Jared guided a rifle hunter to a 220" bruiser! Guided Deer hunts in Kansas include your lodging, meals and are fully guided for 5 days and 4 nights. You can generally draw a rifle tag here every other year and archery is possible to draw every year. This hunt will be in Kansas game management unit 1 and 2.
We also offer trespass fee hunts in Kansas for a reasonable rate per gun. This will give you exclusive access to a property with 2-3 installed ladder stands. Hunt is in GMU 1 and 2.
Our guided Colorado deer hunts are done along the Arkansas River near Lamar, Colorado. Our property has high populations of whitetails, it's normal to see 15 to 25 deer a day. Bucks are generally in the 120-150 range with bigger ones around. We took a 158" typical Whitetail here in 2009 but in Lamar that's about as big as they get. These are guided hunts from ladder stands and ground blinds. You can draw the license most years without a preference point. This hunt is in Game unit 127 but call before applying for any license as there are special hunt codes available. We also have Guided Mule Deer hunts available in CO now in game unit 127 as well. There was a Mule Deer taken that came in just under 200" in 2010 on this ranch.
We also have an unguided, trespass fee property that we allow 4 hunters on per season for a reasonable price per hunter. This hunt will allow you to use 2 to 3 exclusive stands for 7 to 9 days, if you're not seeing any Deer we'll move you to a new location. This property is also located in game management unit 127/132.
Our Kansas Pheasant hunts are nothing short of amazing. You'll be hunting CRP, natural grasslands, food plots and wind breaks. On a normal day you'll probably see hundreds of birds. This hunt includes your meals, guide and dogs for the day.
Our duck and goose hunts are based around Lamar, Colorado. We have over 100 dozen decoys so we will always have the right spread for the weather. Generally, we'll hunt ducks till lunchtime, then head to our clubhouse for lunch. After lunch, we'll head out to the field for the afternoon hunt.
Spring Snow Goose hunts can be very exciting as we're allowed to unplug our shotguns, use electronic calls and hunt after sundown. The hunts are done over decoys and the birds can be from 15 to 45 yards out in small flocks to several hundred or even thousands at a time.
Our Turkey hunts take place in GMU 1 in north western Kansas. Populations are high and it's common to see over 100 birds a day. The birds generally are called in to you within 30 yards over decoys.
Hunting is hunting and weather is unpredictable. Our promise is to guide you with an experienced hunter on excellent property. There are no guarantees but we are committed to doing our best to provide you with a great hunt.
