Comments: I got this rifle as a gift from my father. I immediately bought a box of Remington 130gr and Winchester 130gr. Proceeded to range with great expectations. My widest group at 100 yards was 1.30" with the Winchester. The Remington gave me an average of 1.23" at 100 yards. I was very impressed. Since then (summer of last year) I have taken 2 deer with the rifle. The first deer was taken from a tree stand at about 90 yards. One shot through the shoulder area, deer dropped on the spot. The second deer was taken as I and some friends were making drives through some old cutover. A doe (legal to take on private lands in Mississippi) jumped up at about 100 yards and proceeded to get to the next county (was hauling butt). I fired one time as she bounded over a small rise and lost sight of her. I knew I had seen neck in scope so proceeded with search. Found her just over the rise. One shot to the neck. This day was quite rainy and the firearm peformed flawlessly in the weather. Basically, I am quite impressed with Savages line of Weather Warrior rifles.
