  • Comments  I purchased this on the chance it may allow my Rem 700 in 300 Win Mag to shoot a wider variety of bullet weights.  It always liked 180 gr but didn't do well with lighter or heavier weights. 1 short time at the range and a few turns of the adjustment and I knew my money was well spent.   My 150 Nosler BT handloads started out at 2" groups. Soon they were 5/8".    This same load took two antelope in Wyoming, one at at 612 YDs and one at 280 yds.   Both dropped in their tracks. For Elk I have a different bullet and load.  I have the adjustment marked for that load and a few twists and it's ready except for a slight scope adjustment.    It is a great way to make a good gun better.  Cuts the recoil a bunch too. The only downside is the increased noise.   Wear ear protection for sure.
