Comments I have shot these wonderful bullets in 2 cal., and three guns. The 2 cal. are 7mm Mag, and 300 Wthby Mag.. The guns were Rem. 700 & Winchester Model 70 Classic Pre 64 action with Boss, both were stainless steel with synthetic stocks. Accuracy was excellant with the Remington under .5 in., 3 shot groups, Winchester have shot only about 40 rounds, and have yet to try another setting than what the factory recommended with a differant bullet, it still shot .7 in. groups. The 300 Wthby was the same as the Winchester in 7 mag., did not find the best setting with hand loads, but it still shot 1 in. groups. As far as performance went, I had superb results, as has the friend who told me about them in the first place. Both of the deer I shot with these dropped dead in their tracks, like being hit with a sledge hammer. Both bullets passed clear through the deer, and left large exit wounds. I saw all the deer my friend has shot, at large range differences, and all had the same results as to immediate kill, and exit wounds. These bullets are not recommended for heavy boned animals, though I believe they could handle elk with a properly placed shot, but since an ideal shot is not always possible, i.e. missing large bones, I personally would not bet my elk hunt on just this bullet.
