Comments: My experience this year with 140 grain 7mm ballistic tips @ 3,000 fps on three whitetail was not so enthusiastic. Large 4-5" entrance holes and pencil exits when they exited. Jackets separated from the core. Pieces of lead around the entrance. All deer broadside. Bullet travel seemed to veer off course. Bring back the solid base!!!
