Comments My brother had Mossberg model 500 I gave him for his birthday. It blew up on him while duck hunting out of his boat. He had already fired a few rounds before it blew up. There was zero chance of it being plugged (mud etc.). The ammo he was using was factory made, not reloads. It was apparently a flaw in the barrel. Mossberg gave him a new upgraded gun of which I don't remember the model #. He's accused me of trying to kill him. I guess he won't be getting any more presents. (Just kidding)
