  • Comments: Suggested by my taxidermist who has never steered me wrong. He has over 50 years (!) taxidermy experience, 3rd generation in field, and memer of Boone and Crockette committee, SCI committee, and prior winner Word Taxidermy Competition. He said that although these knives are tough to sharpen (should use Lansky or other angled-blade holder), they HOLD THEIR EDGE! Liked them so much he bought one for every member of their large shop, and though they occasionally touch them up with a ceramic rod while working, they only really resharpen them ever 6 wks or so, and they use them as their main utility/boning/frequent deboning/turning knives! I whole-heartedly concurr. Once sharpened, it is great knife at a bargain price!
