I swear by this thing. I feel safe and secure (although the bow adapter feels less sturdy) I have used it for years with no incidents. It is certainly heavier than most climbers, but for us bigger guys (250-300lbs.) it's no problem to carry and it can take an appreciable amount of weight.It is noisy if you don't get your technique down and take the time to familiarize yourself with it's operation, and you need to be mindful of the set-up. Once you've mastered it though, two words that have never really been combined merge beautifully, hunting & comfort. I sleep in it regularly and have all the cool options. I highly reccommend the steep angle and chill pads, and the bow adapter is a must. You may feel somewhat unstable with this feature, but you're not. Some folks I know have an API or similar stand for archery season, I'll save the bucks (not just kill 'em). The other worth while features are the pillow (just need a blanket) and the larger knobs (easier to find than wingnuts). I just used my tree lounge yesterday, and will never own another climber. I have owned others, but have settled on the tree lounge for good. Sturdy, safe, dependable and always COMFORTABLE!
