I have hunted out of this stand for 6 years. Most of my buddies have changed stands several times in this period, but I prefer to keep the Ol'man. It is comfortable, quiet, and pretty simple to set up. I do not have to worry about a lot of adjustments, or small parts to loose. The Air Elite has a carbon fiber platform, and I don't worry about it rusting. And it won't collect ice during cold weather like the metal stands do. The stand compacts together easy and this makes it fairly easy to carry. It is quieter to carry and does not clang like metal ones do. The non slip surface makes it safe to wear different foot wear and not worry about loosing your footing when climbing or moving around in it.
