I have never used a more useless product. This product is supposed to make blood spots jump out at you. The regular white light worked better. The blood light in no way enhanced the blood trail at all. Any red maple leaves with dew on them shows exactly the same as blood. Save your money. I even wrote customer service at Gerber and they have not bothered to respond. I attempted to use this to track two different deer in the dark, I found the blood trail using my regular headlamp. Maybe the the thing was not adjusted correctly at the factory but for $50 for a flashlight I would think it should have been.
