This is a light weight gun that will kick fairly hard. It has a tight choke that takes some getting used to. We were shooting clays out of a Hoppes thrower down into a gully. You can consistently hit them just before the hit the ground (This gives the distance factor). I have not shot clays in 18 years and can hit 20 or more for every 25. My eleven year old son can shot it nice and was able to hit clays the first time he ever shot a gun. Very accurate and very well made gun. We both have nice bruises to show for a fun day.
