The 870 Express Super Magnum Is a great gun for those who want one gun to hunt small game, waterfowl(Canadian geese), turkey,or deer the reason being because with the shotgun barrel you can shoot, 3 1/2 inch shells, 3 inch shells, or 2 3/4 shells- perfect selection for game size. With the shotgun barrel you have a great pattern the modified choke I've taken geese at about 40 yards, with the 3 1/in. shells the gun feels great and gives you a still feel when pointing. With the slug barrel you can shoot 3inch slugs easily 150 yards. I've killed about 3 deer with this gun at 150-175 yds with perfect accuracy- WITHOUT A SCOPE!!! Out of the 35 hours I used it this gun jammed once because I fired a 3inch with the 2 3/4 chambered if you have this gun or are planning on a purchase make sure you get the right plugs and do not mix shells!
