This scope is as clear as Nikon's and Leoupold's highest models. You can see with very little light, and the reticle centers the game very well. I have had various other rifle scopes of different name brands including Tasco, Nikon, Redfield, and a couple others. The Swift scopes that I now own perform better than any other scopes I have used, except the Nikon. The Nikon and Swift have almost identical clarity and are a joy to hunt with. If you are choosing a rifle scope and want a great scope at a super value, I recomend a Swift. Compare one at a pro shop to other more expensive name brands and you will see what I mean.
