I dont know how to quite describe this excellent revolver, I have owned or shot all of the .44 magnums and not one can hold a candle to the Colt in my experience. One hole groups at 35 yards are easy if you do your part. This revolver doesnt care what grain bullet it shoots, it likes them all. The one I chose has a 6 inch barrel and the fit and finish is excellent, you cant really see the barrel to cylinder gap unless held up to a bright light, very smooth trigger pull. I plan on taking this revolver deer hunting this year and cant wait. This revolver is worth its steep price tag if you can swing it, and just a little side note here. No matter what anybody tells you Colt is not dead!! They are not out of business!!
