This gun is rough, but functional. The safety is difficult to move while trying to snap shoot. (This caused me to miss a chance at a good buck!) The gun has never hung up on me, as i've heard others complain. The two biggest complaints I have with the gun other than the unpolished action, is the safety and with any 3 1/2 in shells other than steel, it kicks the snot out you. (This is coming from a guy that weighs 220lbs.) I'd recommend a Remington 870 Supermag for about the same money, and a Browning if you can afford at little more.
