Overall Impression: Had A Great Time

This was the first guided hunting trip I have planned. I was really scared that it might be poor experience because you hear so many horror stories about bad outfitters. We scheduled a late season hunt which meant the birds have had some pressure on them so they were pretty wild. We did not kill a lot of birds but it was our poor shooting and the weather that played a major factor in that. We saw plenty of pheasants and a few good coveys of quail. There was another group of hunters there who had hunted there back in November and said they got into 10 to 12 coveys of quail averaging about 20-30 birds per covey. If you want to hunt quail and pheasant and hunt only wild (real wild) birds this is the place. I would advise to book early these guys are making a name for themselves. check them out at huntingkansas.com P.S. If Dave and Chad ever read this thanks for everything, you guys worked hard for us. We had a great time.
