We had four hunters booked into Merv's spring bear camps in Alberta. The first two hunters experienced poor weather but harvested four bear, two each. They had good color phase as well. The next two hunters had less success. They each shot one bear but lost one of them in the heavy cover after three trips by the guides to find it. The one hunter who did not take a bear was invited back for a fall hunt for free. Merv ran a tip top camp with high success. Our four hunters shot six bear and we will book the 2001 spring hunt full very soon. Our 1999 waterfowl hunters also had a great hunt. Call our office for details.
