Overall Impression: Poor

9 hunters in camp for 1st rifle season.Total of 5 elk sighted in 5 days of hunting by all hunters - they were all cows and all in one group.Mule Deer were plentiful but very few with any horns at all.Two deer were taken during the week - 1 spike and one forkhorn, both very small deer. The guides are part-timers taking vacation time from their real jobs and admitted they really didn\\\'t know what was \\\"back there\\\" on the outfitter\\\'s leased land, though they seemed to know the BLM land pretty well.Guide service consisted of a ride to an area, telling each hunter to \\\"hunt here\\\" and picking you up at dark. The outfitter talked a great story he didn\\\'t deliver on.In summary, this was everything that much-awaited western hunt shouldn\\\'t have been, and I don\\\'t see it ever being any better with this outfitter.
