Overall Impression: excellent

I went in the last week of October in 98. Just found this web site. Bill is the owner and also guides for his outfit. This was a dry warm fall with no snow. Still saw three large herds of elk. I took a nice 6x6 and passed on a nice 5x5 mule deer. lots of mule deer. The herds contained larger bulls than the one I shot but they were not as willing to give a perfect shot at 100yds. There were 4 hunters including me. One guide to two hunters. Everybody shot but one person who passed on a mule deer and also could not get a clean shot at a huge 6x6. Mule deer came into camp everyday. No black bears were seen. Only a grizzly.
