Hunted on Halloween 2009. All in all, we saw fourteen wild hogs and three deer. One of the hogs was the size of a bulldozer. One of the deer had three visible tines on one side, the other two were does. Saw the buck as close as thirty yards slip hunting in a dense thicket but could not get shot. I did kill a nice eating hog of about 120 pounds, though, and for me, that's as good as any buck, trust me. I got some great hog and doe footage on my camcorder and a nice meat animal for my freezer. If you want to sit in a stand and keep your feet dry, Riverland is not the outfitter for you. If you want to sit over a corn pile or game patch and wait for the game to come to you, Riverland is not the outfitter for you. If you hate walking, wet feet, swamps, bugs, alligators, and canoes, Riverland is not the outfitter for you. If you hate rowing in a canoe for an hour to get to the hunt, Riverland is not the outfitter for you. However, if you want an affordable adventure-hunt in big buck and hog habitat far from other hunters, call Riverland. If you want to see game animals in the middle of the day when other hunters are sleeping off lunch, call Riverland. It'll change your whole point of view regarding Southern big game hunting.
