Overall Impression: Worst hunt in 64 yrs.
Food was eatable for the hungry, drinking water unfiltered from river, the kitchen sanitary questionable, and meal clean-up left to hunters. Hot shower was available. Our party of 4 saw 1 boar and 2 sows total for the week. Second party of 2 boys shot small sows. New guides, while helpful had no experience. Outfitter was constantly confrontational, argumentative and disrespectful to hunters. Outfitter informed us upon arrival that bow-blinds were not available for those of us signed up for bow-hunts. Guides were already in process of closing camp for the season. Switched to guns after 2 days of nothing. Last day of hunting w/gun I was placed on a nice bow blind setup with bait can barely 18 yrds away. Nice huh! Three of us are lifelong hunters and have in past hunted internationally. What a disappointment this trip was and a poor reflection on Saskatchewan outfitters....
