Would Recommend: Definitely not!

Overall Impression: Totally misrepresented

Hunt was 2-4 June 2008. The guide was a young fellow who did what he could with the situation, but the scenario was totally misrepresented by the outfitter. The lodge couldn't accommodate more than 6 men comfortably. On the first day no one saw any game, and very little was sighted thereafter. We were led to believe that there were many large boar there, but of 4 hunters hunting 3 days, only one of us got a boar, 44 pounds. The guide admitted to us that we would have done well to harvest 2 animals between the 4 of us, throughout the entirety of the hunt. Naumann talks a good act, but is absolutely dishonest about his operation. He leases the land from a timbering company, there is virtually no game on the place. Would never recommend this outfitter to anyone, he's very unprofessional. You'll notice that he advertises a great deal, but the reality is that no one who hunts his place is likely to hunt it again. With Naumann, it's a matter of taking one's money and letting him look at the woods. BOOK ELSEWHERE!
