This hunt took place Oct.6-12 2007.It was the 2nd rifle hunt of the year.The hunting started out a little slow at the beginning of the week, but it picked up during the last 4 days.I took a 6x6 and my partner took a really nice 5x5.There were two other good bulls shot that week, another 6x6 and a 5x6.Out of 10 guys in camp there were six bulls killed that week with all but one hunter having an opportunity to shoot a bull.The camp is in good shape with wood floors in the wall tents, a shower,propane heat,seperate cook and eating tent and some of the regulars stay in campers.Be prepared for a lot of horseback riding as well as a lot of hunting on foot,so be in GOOD shape.The meals are excellent every day.They do not hunt on Sundays because of church.This is a very Christian based hunting camp which is a welcome change to most.Rustin is a strait up guy and he and his guides will give you 110% no matter if its the first day or the last day.
