I went to this outfitter in late October. The guides did not know much and didnt seem too real interested. The guides took us the day before hunting to show the properties and we walked all over getting scent all over the place because they were wearing normal clothes and not scent protected clothing. Asked the owner if i could come during the rut and said that i couldnt since the first two weeks were reserved for guys from michigan. Those guys were allowed to hunt different areas of the properties where we did not and they had no stands set in those areas for us. Everything they told us was BS. All the other hunters i met out there were disgusted and furious like myself. the owner only cares about your money and the guys he has from michigan each year who have been going to him for more than 5 years. almost all of the michigan guys get deer every year. dont waste your time or money with timber oaks.
