I have submitted a couple of entries on Anticosti Island, and I have actually been contacted a few people here for advise..Some have called me back after going and did not see the game I'm talking about..look, timing is everything, go in late November like I have mentioned..They have cheaper hunts in Sept an Oct..but Nov an Dec are the time to go..This year we had 9 hunters go hunting for a 4 day hunt..We are allowed 2 deer a piece..We killed 18 bucks in 2 days..I took my 12 year old son who slammed his first racker, 19 inch spread 9 point..We got one 11 point with 2 drop tines...i ended up with 2 decent 8 points..I averaged seeing over 100 deer a day in which 25-30 % were bucks.. The snow makes the difference to the hunting..One guy we took with us always went In Oct...he's been there for 6 years..he went with us in late Nov..to the same camp and he just couldn't believe it..For pictures of this hunt go to huntingchat.net look in the deer section of the forum..there are 3-4 post started on this..One of the best post is entitled.."Hard to describe in words'
