I hunted boar at Caryonah with a bow and had a great time. I was the only hunter in camp the day I hunted. It was a 'spot and stalk' type of hunt. I saw one real good boar early in the morning, but he was not in bow range. I saw several hogs during the day and it was a lot of fun making stalks on some of them. Toward the end of the day, I was able to connect. The food was great and plentiful! There were people in and out at the lodge, family, neighbors, etc. and they didn't seem as friendly as I thought they would be. The 'guide' was very friendly and helpful throughout the day. I would go back for another bowhunt for hogs anytime.
