This was a Moose hunt on the Yukon border in a remote area in the N.W. corner of B.C. acessable by float plane. This was my first and last horseback hunt. The mounts were good but I have discovered that I am no horseman. My guide was a second generation native indian biggame guide from the Yukon named Mike and I can tell you that he was well experienced. Over a 10 day period we saw 12 moose of which 5 were bulls. On the eighth day I shot a 55" bull that Mike called to my gun. I saw one larger bull the following day from camp. Good country, good outfitter, great experience.
