My wife and I hunted with Jim Allen for our first western hunt. It was fantastic. We found exactly what we wanted: a professional, ethical, experienced outfitter who would work with us.My wife shot her first deer after an exciting stalk, and we enjoyed learning about the history of the area, behavior of the game, and the ecology of the region.The next day I was fortunate enough to take both a mule deer and an antelope, both of them after long stalks - it was great! We took average mule deer and a very nice antelope. There were others in camp who took some VERY impressive mule deer but we were less selective since this was our first experience out there.Living in the east, I had never imagined that we'd see so much game. Going back this year for elk!!!
