Went on a spring bear hunt just across the boarder into New Brunswick. Stayed at camp in ME and traveled relatively short drive everyday. Despite poor weather for hunting two days, all 5 people in camp had the opportunity to take a bear. 3 of 5 in camp our week saw very nice bear. Spring hunts have 3:1 hunter:guide ratio. Accomadations excellent with home cooked, sit down meals.
