I went with my brother-in-law and it was first time we went west to hunt Elk. We were given a guide with 2 years experience and the worst hunting area.It looked like they took care of the return hunters. and left the new guys to fend for themselves. It was the worst trip I have taken. I saw one Mule deer the enitre week (very small) and five cow Elk on the first moring of the hunt. During the week I hunted only three elk were taken, all by return hunters and two Mule deer.
