My son and I hunted 1st week of Sept. 2006. The weather was NOT conducive to a good hunt. Temps. in 90's,full moon, wildfire smoke. This was no fault of the outfitter. My son and I both shot ave. size sow bears the 4th night of a 5 day hunt. Both sows were cinammon color. Camp, cook, other hunters, and 2 of 3 guides were great. The negatives were that the area wasn't advanced scouted prior to our arrival. We spent 2 1/2 days just looking for bear sign. Our guide hadn't been on this ranch for 2-3 years[50,000 acres], and didn't know where he was at 1/2 the time. Plus there was a personality conflict between my son and the guide, and he was getting to me after 4 days, and I'm easy to get along with. My son and I shot our bears on the 4th nite of a 5 day hunt, spot and stalk, by ourselves in a canyon.Overall, the country was beautiful, and had the weather been better, I'm sure we would have seen more bears. We shot the only 2 we saw. I would hunt with BCO again, but would have a serious talk about the quide/advanced scouting.Mike
