We hunted with Tom on a fall Black Bear hunt in the Bitterroot Wilderness Area on a pack in 5 day hunt. In Montana it's all spot and stalk and it's tough hunting. We hunted hard for five days and did not see a bear but we saw Elk and Moose everyday. Tom keeps two hunters and one guide per camp so it's not a large camp. The meals were good and the guide worked hard day in and day out. Looking back I would hunt the area a little diferent and I think that I could find a bear.
