I hunted with otter creek outfitters during the peak of the rut. Saw a ton of deer most 5x5's. Not the biggest deer I've ever seen but nice quality deer. It was one of the worse years for rainfall you can imagine. .4inches of rain during peak growing months. Jim and cindy are great folks really make you feel at home. Jim was my guide and put me on a nice mulie on the second day. He answered all my questions and reaaly gave me the choice to shot or wait for a differnt deer. No pressure to end the hunt. My partners guide misjudged a deer and he ended up taking a small deer only bad part of the trip. I guess it happens. Would love to try again when the drought is over and they really grow big.
