This hunt was several years ago but I just found this site. Met with Wayne at his house. He told me I would be assigned 1 stand and not to "come whining if you don't see any bear. You're not getting another stand". The "guide" led me to my stand (in my own vehicle)and I never saw him again for the rest of the hunt. I was on my own after that. I was told that if I shot a bear, I was to load it in my vehicle and bring it back. He said don't come back wanting me to track it down and load it up for you. I went back to his house after the first nights hunt to check in so he wouldn't think I was lost in the wilderness. He told me not to be coming to his house. I saw 1 bear that weighed about 90 lbs and didn't shoot it. Wayne made some remark about me wasting his time if I wasn't going to shoot a bear.
