Overall Impression: Terrible

I hunted for three sixteen hour days in a row in a box blind at a watering hole. I want to let everyone know that these were small round corrugated metal tanks on slabs, not what I was expecting. When they told me watering holes I expected small ponds, not extremely small troughs at best. It was a four day hunt, but I could only make six hours on the last day. I was exhausted. I never left the blind for the entire time I was in it and patient like the outfitter asked. The first two days I was at one hole and the next two on a different one. The first hole I hunted I looked at the backsides of cattle for 28 of the 32 hours I spent there. When I complained to Tom Tietz (the owner) he acted like I was being unreasonable and actually got mad at me. The last two days I hunted at a different hole because of the cattle. I saw two VERY young bucks. Maybe some would have drawn their bow and shot, but I refuse to harvest young animals. As I already stated the fourth day I only hunted six hours because I was exhausted and had to drive more than 1,000 miles home.Tom never contacted me, nor did he ever offer me a chance to come back at a reduced rate. The guide he had was a good guy and seemed knowledgeable; however he told me that he didn't take care of the monetary issues. That was handled by Tom. He just did the guiding.
