My son took a real nice mulie. I shot a nice 5x5 elk on the last day of the hunt. The elk ranged from 6x7 to a 3x3. None monsters but nice animals. Several great mulies and whitetail. Went the week before Thanksgiving and the deer were in rut. Outfitter recommends coming during archery or first 2 weeks of rifle to get a chance at the really big boys. However the deer are harder to get that early. Very hard country to hunt. Very steep terrain. Mostly glassin clearcuts. Very good outfit. Everyone very nice and knowledgeable. We hope to get back with them.
