I'm a hard core traveling bowhunter and have always wanted a chance at a trophy class, hard-horned Mule Deer. Despite finding mixed reviews in my research on this site and others, I booked this hunt on the strength of the archery references the outfitter supplied. I experienced a tremendous opportunity to bowhunt open country trophy mule deer, with a chance to hunt big whitetails in the same area (The tag is good for one deer of either species). I killed a mid 180's buck on the first morning and spent the next 5 days tagging along with other hunters in camp and video taping some huge bucks. We killed 4 big bucks (3 mule deer, 1 Whitetail) and only had 1 hunter go home empty, and he missed a 20 yard shot at a 180" mule deer. email me if you would like more details at sea.green@verizon.net.
