Curt's handle is "Well Put Ya On Em"......It should be "We'll Put Ya On". We hunted with this joker for three years and his success rate and promises are poor, poor, poor. He promises you a low impact hunt with stands that are not hunted hard. The truth is he is overbooking his land and overhunting. If you run into a problem on the farm you are hunting, he has no other stands to put you in. Generally, you have about 80-120 acre farms for 1-2 hunters with 3-5 prehung stands. You burn them out quick and there is no rotation of stands or farms. His places to stay are marginal. When we 1st hooked up w/ him three years ago he was at $750 for a 5 day hunt and his statements were that he wanted return clients and he wanted to keep the hunts affordable. He quickly went up to $1000/week and now he's jumping to &1450/week including the marginal lodging. We asked about a discount for next year and he said no discounts 'cause he can fill his spots. So much for client loyalty. Anyway, his success rate this year was one skinny 10 pt 125 1/8" buck, two missed shots on about 140" class bucks and the tally was at 37 hunters the week after we were done hunting. He claims his success rate and costs are in line w/ an Illinois rut hunt in November. You be the judge but he's got the last of our $$$.
