Cox ranch was very poorly managed. The camp was decent, but we had 11 hunters to one small area and we thought the ranch was more than 500 acres that we would be hunting. Hunting is never a guarantee, but the stands were in horrible shape and most of the feeders never went off.
Outfitter Response: This is jd coxI walk with jesus christ at my sideI have run hunting operation last 30 yearsMany hunters. " only a few say all these lies about me & my ranch "we trophy hunt kill big bucks only. Real hunters understand that in 2 -3 day hunts big bucks dont always show during hunting hours hunters should try to book hunts fron thanksging through mid jan rut will be on my fence line looks over into 20,000 acre ranch hunted very very little like sancuary next to you. Just few hinters last year we took only 12 trophy bucks from ranch everybody hunted with me did not kill one. I have man & his 2 children hunted with me last 2 years coming back this year around new years always kill bucks on their hunt they drive all the way from minnisota i have many many pictures of bucks taken from my ranch. I am proud of my ranch 2 miles off hwy surrounded by large ranches. Its one of the best open ranch trophy deer hunting ranches in south texas 2 or 3 people is only ones that put bad review on internet about me I have had hundreds of hunters the last 30 years had 4 small ranchesOne only now. Its my little piece heaven on earth deer & turkey galore " im proud of it"
