Hunted with Ernie 1st week of November. The weather was a bit warm and a injury kept me from putting the time in on stand I wanted to. I did see a few shooters and one monster in the booner class. Overall the properties are great, good trophy area in southeast Iowa. The lodge was a converted garage, nothing fancy but for the price of the hunt you can't beat it and the meals were home cooked. I would recommend anyone looking for a Iowa outfitter at a fair price to contact Ernie at Steel creek outfitters, he is a great honest outfitter.
