Just returned home from my 2nd trip to the Tom Ranch. My son shot a trophy Javalina within 10 minutes of arrival. The next morning he shot a nice 8 point buck in the free roam area with an 18.5 inch outside spread. A full moon and fog slowed us down the next day and a half, but as soon as the weather cleared we got shots at wild hogs and a doe. We saw lots, I mean lots of game.If your thinking about a trip to south texas to hunt, then the Tom Ranch is the place to go. The people, accomodations, meals everything is just great.
